Making the right choice for you

When applying via DfE APPLY, you can now make up to four choices

•Competition for places can be strong, so think about how best to use your choices

•You don’t have to use all four, but if you do, you have to make them at the same time – you can’t add them at a later date 

•There is no restriction to your four choices – you can choose from any route, subject or age group, in any combination

•To apply for a place on our Primary Initial Training Programme, you make your application to West Essex SCITT (Provider Code: 2BB).

We work with a partnership of schools, so you will train in one of our placement schools.

•The DfE FIND postgraduate initial teacher training programme search tool will allow you to differentiate your search, so you can search using a particular word, e.g. Staples Road or by Provider postcode, e.g. IG9 5RX
